This lot was grown in the Oromia region of Ethiopia, in the Gomma Woreda. This coffee variety, 74112, was developed by JARC, the Jimma Agricultural Research Centre. For more than four decades, JARC have concentrated on breeding coffee varieties that are high-yielding, adaptable to varying agro-ecological areas, and resistant to diseases such as coffee leaf rust and coffee berry disease (known as CBD).
